How to Get Started
1. Connect with the right contractor
BC Hydro can connect you with a qualified Alliance of Energy Professionals contractor — or verify that your current contractor is eligible with BC Hydro.
2. Choose the right upgrades
Your contractor will walk you through one-for-one replacements, like switching 300 T8 fluorescents to high-efficiency LED fixtures or kits.
3. Apply through BC Hydro’s CEM Hub
Before work begins, your contractor will handle the application process, or you can initiate it and have them complete the technical details.
4. Complete the project
Once finished, you’ll submit final documents through the CEM Hub. After approval, you’ll receive your incentive cheque.
